Pausing the Subscription #
To pause a subscription, you can follow the steps below:
- Go to the SureCart menu > Subscriptions, and then select the customer whose subscriptions you want to pause

- In the right corner of the screen, click on the “Actions” button, then select “Pause Subscription”.
- Your subscription will automatically pause at the end of the current billing cycle. Next, on the same popup window, select the date you want the subscription restored and then click the “Pause” button.

We paused the subscription and as a result, you can see that the information tag shows when the subscription will be paused and when it will be restored.

Now that we have paused the subscription, let’s check how we can resume it.
How to Resume a Paused Subscription #
If you want to resume the paused subscription, you can follow the simple steps below:
- Go to the SureCart menu > Subscriptions and then select the paused subscription that you want to resume.

- Click on the “Actions” button in the right corner of the screen, and then select “Don’t Pause”.

- Click the “Resume Subscription” button.

Once you click on the Resume Subscription button, the subscription will become active.
During the paused subscription period, no charges will be incurred. When the subscription is resumed, the customer will continue with the same subscription plan, but with a modified date.
